Threading a sewing machine..?
I just bought a Singer Inspiration sewing machine.. It is the model 4220/4228. Anybody know how to thread it, or where i can find out. I’ve tried many times, & unfortunately the directions are very unclear. HELP?!
Okay, your best bet is to go onto the Singer website and look up that model. the manual will mostly likely be online.
But, as a general tip. The thread will go through the tension BEFORE the take up lever.
I hope that helps. This is very difficult to describe how to do when online. I dont know how much you know about sewing machines.

Singer sewing machines?
right now, I have two choices in my mind…..
Singer, “Inspiration”—–Model:4228
Singer, “Inspiration”—–Model:4220
The only difference is that model-4228 has 8 more stitching patterns……..should I just get the cheaper one(4220) since the stiches don’t have much of a difference…….or do they have other differnces……

Have you sewn on these machines to see how you like them? That would be an important thing to try. What price range are they? I would suggest looking at Kenmore machines at www.sears.com and Kmart has a couple they sell that are Kenmore machines. Janome makes a lot of the machines for Sears now and they are considered good quality for the price. You can go to www.patternreview.com and read reviews on lots of different machines. Another thing about Sears, if you don’t like the machine you can return it and they have a good warranty policy. Hope you enjoy your new machine!!
